A. POTENTIAL Purpose of this project (click on the purposes for more details and discussion on each point to refine them)
- social media self-awareness
- building a collaborative and open platform for the social media discussion
- collective mind writing and tribal knowledge from all disciplines of social media
- free expression, not corporate controlled or advertising/marketing funded
- a virtual team collaborative experience for all members (because once you have been part of a well functioning virtual team, you won’t ever forget it, and you won’t be satisfied with anything less than honesty and clarity)
- a powerful place to document the growth and collision of social media and business, social media and search and social media and society
- developing though leadership through the use of collaborative technologies and the crafting of intelligent documents, articles, white papers, case studies of social media as it changes our world
- because team and collaboration are fun
- learn what allows/compels us to "trust" each other enough to work together for no WIIFM other than the experience (What's In It For Me)
- to build a document and living resource: to make sense of some of what has passed and what is to come
